Myrtle Beach Expansion

Goodwill Industries has been building better communities in Lower South Carolina through the power of work for over 27 years.  This has been done by providing employment training and job placement services to people with disabilities and other disadvantages to employment.  The community has supported the organization with donations of goods, monetary contributions and shopping in Goodwill retail stores.  Because of this support, Goodwill’s mission of helping people achieve their full potential through the dignity and power of work is as relevant today as it was when Goodwill first opened its doors in 1979.

This year marked the beginning of Goodwill’s expansion into Horry County.  The extension of retail operations and mission services into the Myrtle Beach area is another opportunity for Goodwill to better serve the needs of our community.  The new retail stores are located on the 17 Bypass at 544 in Myrtle Beach and on Highway 501 in Conway.

Donate your new and gently used clothing, shoes, accessories, house wares, toys and computers at our convenient donation drive-throughs.  The revenues generated through the sale of these donated items will support mission services offered to people living in this area.  Goodwill is proud to report that over 90 cents of every dollar earned in its retail stores support mission related programs and services.  We look forward to serving the communities in Horry County and the Myrtle Beach area.
